Bombs kill four, wound 20 at Nigeria military base: Police

KANO, Nigeria: Three bombs inside a Nigerian military base killed at least four people and wounded 20 Sunday, police said, in an attack just hours after President Goodluck Jonathan was inaugurated.

The attacks, at a market inside the barracks in Bauchi city in the north of the country, were caused by "locally made devices", Bauchi state police commissioner Abdulkadir Indabawa said.

"There were three blasts at the Mammy market in Bauchi at about eight this evening," he added.
