Ahmadinejad: Western sanctions ineffective
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad dismissed recent Western-imposed sanctions as ineffectivein Istanbulon Thursday.
The recent round of sanctions imposed by a UN Security Council opposite Iran's argumentative nuclear emanate has "no effect upon a decision-making processes," Ahmadinejad pronounced after he attended a 11th summit of a Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) held in Istanbul.
"We have been self-reliant as well as a mercantile development does not rest upon Europe or a U.S.. In a mercantile planning, we pay no attention to those resolutions as well as sanctions," he said.
The Iranian boss pronounced a upcoming meeting to be held in Istanbul between Iran as well as a 5 UN Security Council permanent members and Germany (G5+1) regarding Iranian nuclear ambitions will be "fruitful."
