Two pilots safe after emergency landing in Karachi

Two pilots on a training plane remained safe after it had an emergency landing at a park near a square in the Malir area of Pakistan's southern port city of Karachi on Friday afternoon, said Pakistan's Civil Aviation Authority.

Earlier reports by some of the local media said that a small plane crashed in the Malir area of Karachi due to technical problems. But the reports coming later said that the plane made an emergency landing at a park near a square in the city and the two pilots on the plane remained safe and sound.

It is not known yet what damage has been done to the plane.

Local media reports said that the plane was a Cessna training plane belonging to a flying school in Karachi.
